Bypassing zones (2 ways to accomplish)

If a zone is experiencing an issue and won’t allow you to arm your system because of a “Not Ready” Light, then you can temporarily bypass that zone allowing you to arm the rest of the system. There are 2 primary methods for bypassing zones:

If you know the zone number, you can press the bypass button on the keypad, type in the zone number, and press bypass again.

If you don’t know the zone number you can scroll through the list of available zones by pressing the button and then using the up and down arrow buttons to go through the zones sequentially. When you get to the zone that needs bypassing press the bypass button once to activate.

Zones only stay bypassed for 1 arming cycle, so after each disarm you would need to re-bypass any necessary zones.
