Disabling the whole system in an emergency

If your system is experiencing a problem and is not responding to any input commands at your keypad, then the system would need to be either power cycled, or temporally turned off until servicing. In either scenario you will need a small flat head screwdriver.

First you disconnect the red lead from the battery backup located inside your alarm panel. Then locate your alarm system’s wall power transformer. remove it’s fastening screw and unplug from the
wall. Now the system is disabled and awaits servicing, or powering back up.

If powering back up clears the original problem then you would reconnect the red battery lead and close the panel.
