Fire Event (false alarm) (What to look for on the keypad and detectors and how to reset)

There could be a few instances where you may experience a false fire alarm. If this happens you will see a flashing or solid fire light on your keypad. To either silence the alarm or keypad beeping, type in your code once to acknowledge the event. At this point you will want to look at each smoke detector to find one that has a solid red light. This is the detector that has false alarmed. Once the false alarm is verified you can reset the system by pressing *7 on your alarm keypad.
