Using ‘My Music’ to create a queue and/or save the queue as a playlist

If you have a large music collection we can incorporate that into your Control4 system through “My Music”. We can link your music from iTunes or import your music through a NAS Drive or USB Drive. After importing your library you will be able to see all your Music Cover art and be able to sort by album, artist or genre. You can also access any custom playlists that you create.

To create a playlist you will first add music to the queue. Find the first album or artist you want to add. If you want to add the whole album choose the ‘…’ icon and then select Add to Queue. If you only want select songs from that album then choose the song and choose Add to Queue. Once you have selected all the Songs you want in the Queue you can save it as a Playlist that you can call up anytime you like. To go into the Queue press the cover art in the status bar at the bottom of the page. From here press the Save (Diskette) Icon at the top right of the page. Enter a name for the playlist. Now you can access that playlist by pressing the Playlist button at the top of the My Music page. Once you start a Queue you can shuffle the selection by pressing the shuffle button. With playlists you can shuffle and/repeat by pressing the corresponding icons at the top right.
